Applications: You
can request an application be mailed to you by filling out and
mailing the form indicated above along with your $25
application fee or picking up a request form at the JATC
during their office hours of 8:00 am to noon and 1:00 pm to
5:00 pm.
Requirements:
Below are the individual requirements for each different
classification.

Interviews: Interviews will be scheduled for those having qualifying
scores on the aptitude test.
School:
Daytime school for the Construction
apprenticeship,
25 days per year, for a total of 200 hours per year (one
quarter on and one quarter off). Low
Voltage and Residential go to school in the evening September
thru May. Books will be around $250-$350 per year and tuition will be approximately
$700.00-$800.00
per year and you will receive college credit through Pierce
College.
Dues:
Working dues are $25.00 per month. Once you have completed
the first year and are initiated into the Union, your dues
will be 1 ½% of your gross pay.
APPRENTICESHIP, IT IS A CAREER CHOICE &

Apprenticeship
combines classroom studies with on-the-job training under
the supervision of a journey level craft person or trade professional.
Apprenticeship programs are a proven success. They offer key
