CONSTRUCTION  ELECTRICIAN   REQUIREMENTS

• Complete an application form. ($25.00 fee)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must reside within Pierce, Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Pacific, or Grays Harbor County.
• Must be a H.S. graduate or have a G. E. D. with a score of at least 250 (2500 new scoring system). In lieu of a diploma or GED, have a two year Associates Degree or higher.
• Must have completed 1 full year of H.S. Algebra with a "C" or better or 1 post high school Algebra course with a passing grade.
• Must posses and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must have a qualifying score on the National JATC Aptitude Test to be scheduled for an interview.

APTITUDE TEST

If you meet the basic requirements, you will be scheduled to take the NJATC Aptitude Test which  consists of two (2) tests. It will take approximately two and a half hours to complete. The number of items and the amount of time allotted for each test is as follows:

• Algebra & Functions: (33 items and 46 minutes to complete) This test your ability to solve problems using Algebra.
• Reading Comprehension: (36 items and 51 minutes to complete) This test your ability to obtain information from written pages.
