- Complete
an application form. ($25.00 fee)
- Must
be at least 18 years of age.
- Must
reside within Pierce, Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Pacific, or
Grays Harbor County.
- Must
be a H.S. Graduate or have a G. E. D. with a score of
250+(2500+ new scoring system).
- Must
have completed 1 full year of H.S. Algebra with a passing
grade or 1 quarter of post HS Algebra with a passing grade.
- Must
have a qualifying score on the National JATC Aptitude Test.
APTITUDE
TEST
If you meet the basic requirements, you will be scheduled
to take the NJATC Aptitude test which consists of two (2) tests. It will take approximately two
and a half hours to complete. The number of items and the
amount of time allotted for each test is as follows:
- Algebra
& Functions: (33 items and 46 minutes to complete) This
test your ability to solve problems using Algebra.

Reading Comprehension: (36 items and 51 minutes to complete)
This test your ability to obtain information from written
pages.
